Hello CTX Bengals Parents,

Our TeamFi Calendar Fundraiser officially starts today! This is a mandatory fundraiser, and we are asking every athlete and family to participate. The funds raised will help provide equipment, field rentals, uniforms, training equipment, officials, insurance, and other important expenses that directly benefit our football and cheer athletes throughout the season.

Here’s how you can help your athlete succeed:

✅ Click your TeamFi link and set up your fundraiser.
✅ Add as many contacts as possible—the more contacts you add, the better your chances of reaching your goal.
✅ Share your fundraiser on all of your social media accounts.
✅ Send it to family, friends, neighbors, coworkers, and anyone else who may be willing to support your athlete.
✅ The TeamFi app will continue sending reminders to your contacts until they make a donation, so adding a large contact list is very important.

📅 Fundraiser Deadline: August 1st

Every athlete is expected to participate. If an athlete does not participate in the fundraiser, there will be a $150 fundraiser buyout fee.

The new food truck law is making it even harder for small business owners to survive.

The permit fee has gone from around $500 to nearly $1,500. At the same time, local health departments no longer receive revenue from conducting the initial inspections. Now it feels like they’re making up for that lost revenue by actively searching for food trucks to fine over permitting issues.

Meanwhile, our food costs continue to climb. Meat, seafood, oil, packaging, fuel, and supplies all cost more than they did just a short time ago. Every new fee or fine gets passed down to small business owners who are already operating on thin margins.

Food trucks aren’t asking for special treatment. We want safe, fair, and consistent regulations that protect customers without making it impossible for small businesses to stay open.

Small businesses are the backbone of many communities. Policies should encourage entrepreneurship, not create more barriers for the people willing to work long hours to build something of their own.

Business is getting harder every year, and many food truck owners are simply trying to hang on.
