Who hasn’t heard of SPASH? Check out these three, Chris, Bruce, and Bill, ‘86 alum who spent Friday night in Manitowoc. (Last year they visited Appleton). Anyway, we shut the Pub down around 1:00am and headed to the north side of the river for a beverage at Diggers and another at Chewy’s. Lots of pleasant conversation throughout the evening. I had a very pleasant conversation with Amanda and Brian this past Friday evening. They are the proud new owners of the Cool City Motel in Two Rivers since August 2025. Although they are in the midst of a remodel, they are open for business. The Pub wishes you much success on your endeavor. I look forward to a visit to see the progress you’ve made this far. Stage Door welcomed many newcomers last night. I appreciate your visit. The deck will be available for karaoke on almost every warm and dry Friday and Saturday night throughout the summer. Drink specials include $2 Natural Light, $3 Busch Light, $3 Coors Light, and $4 pints of rail vodka from 10pm-1am.

Six years ago today, I served my first customers fresh off the SS Badger from Michigan. Stop in for double bubble domestic bottles, house wine, and rail cocktails.

April 11, the Pub had the honor to welcome the uber-talented, Manitowoc LHS graduate, Andrew Dunlap following his performance with the Manitowoc Symphony Orchestra at the CCC.

His bio is quite lengthy, but a few highlights include that he received his MM from Rice University, performs nationally and internationally, and collaborated with Dolly Parton and several others.

He currently performs with the Nashville Symphony Orchestra and serves as a substitute with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and the Houston Grand Opera.

Congratulations Andrew on your achievements.

And thank you MSO and music director Dylan T Chmura-Moore for bringing this talent back to Manitowoc for an unforgettable evening.
