Repair Cafe' at the MAC

Repair Cafe' at the MAC MANITOU ART CENTER starts its own Repair Café! What do you do with a broken toaster? Or with a bik What to do with a broken toaster? Or a sweater with moth holes?

Or a bike with the wheels run out of true? Toss it? No way! The Manitou Art Center is organizing the first Repair Café in Manitou Springs, Colorado on Sunday July 16, 2017. People visiting the Repair Café will bring along their broken items from home. Toaster, Lamps, vacuum cleaners, clothes bikes, toys, ceramic items .... anything that is broken is welcome, and can more than likely be repaired fr

ee of charge, although we will ask for small donations to cover material expenses. Work side by side with a knowledgeable repair person to get your things fixed! Come - Join the fun! Meet your neighbors and give things a second chance!

RepairCafeMAC is being transitioned to be managed by the Repair Café members of the PPLD. Continuation of this Page, posts and contributions will be up to the members of the Manitou Art Center and the supporters of the PPLD. It is up to them to decide what to do. I will be relinquishing control, but will like and follow. Thanks to all for your support. You have heart.

We are still in need of Volunteers! Any help would be greatly appreciated! Boy or Girl Scouts could teach people to repair leaking faucets! ( Ill show them how). People able to glue ceramics! - People who can help fit jewelry! - Hey! Does anyone want to make a batch of cup cakes for the event? - anything - really! Pass it on - share please!
