My wife and I have owned the Conewago Inn for the last 24 years straight. We have never experienced such exaggerated press and opinions as we have related to this incident. We are known for providing a safe environment for our customers to enjoy high quality food within a great ambience. There are so many untrue comments that we find ourselves in a position we must set the record straight. This whole episode happened in between our building and the house next-door in the back corner of our rear parking lot by our dumpsters. None of our employees were involved and nothing took place in the inn or had anything to do with the Inn as a motivating factor And this all took place prior to the Inn even being open around 9 o’clock, in broad daylight. My wife, myself, and our very loyal employees that pour their heart out every day to make us successful. Please don’t let this hysteria ruin what it has taken us 24 years to build. I assure you, you will be safe just as you have been throughout our long tenure of ownership.Our heart is broken that so many untruth as well as mean comments have been posted and I can just ask for you to keep our past history in mind.
