We would like everyone to please keep Bill Marcum in your prayers today as he undergoes open heart surgery. We pray that God will watch over Bill and his surgeons as they perform this surgery and Bill makes a full recovery. He’s tough as nails and he means a lot to us here at Big Hickory Golf Club. In Jesus name we ask these things, amen!

A Championship Night to Remember at Big Hickory Golf Club.

Tonight, Mark Jackson and his late teammate, Nate White, claimed the Week 14 victory and the 2026 Men’s Doubles League Championship!

It was an emotional and unforgettable night as Nate’s father, Mike White, was there to support Mark and witness this special moment.

Mark lost not only his teammate but one of his best friends earlier this season. Through it all, he kept playing and kept fighting with one goal in mind: bringing home the championship for Nate. Tonight, he did just that.

Nate meant the world to all of us here at Big Hickory, and we know this championship will forever hold a special place in Mark’s heart and in the heart of Nate’s father, Mike.

Congratulations, Mark! This one was for Nate! ❤️🏆
