Popular misconceptions about weather and Food Trucks:

1. You have a grill in there, you must be nice and cozy. NOPE, we also have a hood system that is designed to suck out air at a furious rate to exfiltrate smoke and carbon monoxide created by the open flames. So, when it is 20 degrees outside, because of moving air, it is 12 degrees inside the food truck.

2. You can add space heaters to get warm....NOPE, read point 1

3. 20 degrees air temp is below freezing. What do you think will happen to fruits, salads and other items sitting in a open top refrigerator...i let you guess on this one. All breads on the tuck will be frozen as well within an hour.

4. Most importantly, the poor souls working in this type of enviroment: None of us are designed to withstand these extreme weather conditions.

5. No matter how hot food is prepared, if food is plated and is in a serving window for 1 min in these conditions, it will be cold.

Please be understanding and compassionate when a food truck can not fulfill an obligation due to these type of conditions.
