Trophy Rainbows Stocked
600 pounds of Rainbow Trout averaging 4.5 lbs stocked for the weekend. The State stocked Convict Lake as well — a double plant for Labor Day weekend. Come and get ’em. Recent catches include:

South shore: 5 lbs, 4 lbs, 2½ lbs

Hangman’s Tree: 4½ lbs

Inlet: 4¼ lbs

Also reported: 3¼ lbs, 3¼ lbs, and 2¼ lbs

Garlic PowerBait, green PowerBait with a worm, mice tails, nightcrawlers, and green jigs have been working well. Early morning has been the better bite.

Licenses, bait, tackle, and ice are at the General Store.

4- Nights Only — Monday, August 31 through Thursday, September 3rd. Book two nights and we add this:
• 2-person studio — $150 restaurant credit + 2-hour boat,
• Bodie, Aspen, High Sierra, or Kamloop — $200 credit + 1/2 day pontoon
• Yosemite or Laurel Ridge — $300 credit + a full-day pontoon
• Mt. Morrison — $400 credit + a full-day pontoon
Credit is good at The Restaurant at Convict Lake and Morrison’s in Mammoth. Pontoons go out from our marina.
These are the quiet nights before Labor Day.

Ambush at the Lake

The fall derby begins on August 22 and runs through November 15. It costs $19 to enter and all you have to do is catch one 14 inch or bigger fish to be entered into the drawing worth $6000 in resort credits. As an added bonus, at the end of October, we will have the Morrison Bonus Weekend with cash prizes for tagged fish.
