Point Person: Rick Naudy, CPO, WSIT, LGIT. Rick has spent the past eight years at Beach Point as Waterfront Director, bringing a lifetime of experience in swimming, coaching, and water safety to the club.
Rick became a lifeguard at 16 and has been swimming competitively from a young age. During his collegiate swimming career, he was named Swimmer of the Year in his conference multiple times and was later inducted into the Mount Saint Mary College Hall of Fame in recognition of his accomplishments. He still holds several swimming records today.
Rick also served for several years as head swim coach of the Monroe-Woodbury Marlins, where he coached countless young swimmers, including many who went on to qualify for state championships.
His extensive background in aquatics includes certifications as a Certified Pool Operator, Water Safety Instructor Trainer, Lifeguard Instructor Trainer, and CPR Instructor. After eight summers at Beach Point, Rick says what he enjoys most about the club are the members, the management team, and, of course, the incredible view. With his remarkable depth of experience, dedication to water safety, and passion for aquatics, we are incredibly fortunate to have Rick leading our waterfront team.
Outside of Beach Point, Rick enjoys spending time with his wife, Betul, and their daughter, Eva, who turns five in September.
Rick lived in Turkey for several winters, where one of his favorite activities was spearfishing in the Mediterranean.
