These are five of my favorite pizzerias on Long Island, in no particular order.

Niko’s Charred is doing some of the best dough around, Taglio brings creative toppings and a great atmosphere, Mike’s Underground in Amityville has killer specialty pies, and Americano Pizza Shop in Syosset is putting out incredible sourdough pizza. Then there’s King Umberto’s, where the Grandma is a classic, but I’m ordering the Bad and Bougie every single time.

Today we’re wishing a very Happy Birthday to the woman behind Tori T’s! 🎂

The one with the big personality, bigger ideas, and a passion for pizza that never seems to slow down.

This past year has been filled with growth, challenges, new experiences, incredible people, and plenty of lessons along the way. Through it all, Tori continues to push herself outside her comfort zone, learn, share what she knows, continuing to advocate for women in the industry and give everything she has to this crazy industry she loves.

Happy Birthday, Tori! Here’s to another year of pizza, growth, memories, and whatever adventure comes next.

Saturday, September 19th, we’re donating 10% of all sales to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Just go to your local participating pizzeria. Buy a slice, a soda, a pie. We do the rest. Plenty of competition in the pizza world right now. This isn’t that. This is Long Island pizza coming together for the kids at St. Jude.

Every single day, we forget things.

You might forget what you did earlier that morning, what you ate, what you wore, or something someone said to you.

But 9/11 is different.

You remember everything.

You remember what you were wearing.
You remember the weather.
The sounds. The smells.
Where you were. Who you were with.
What you ate.
The phone calls. The faces. The fear.

It was as if time stood still.

25 years have passed, yet somehow that day has never felt 25 years away.

Some moments in life fade with time. September 11th never has.

We said we would never forget.

And we never will. 🇺🇸
