Dear Valued Guests,
It is with a heavy heart that we write this letter to you, our cherished patrons. After much consideration and with deep sadness, we must announce the closing of Keeney’s Village Store, effective January 4th, 2025. This decision has not come easily, especially knowing the legacy that CK created, a legacy we have worked tirelessly to honor and uphold.
When we took over the restaurant, our primary goal was to preserve the warmth and spirit that Mr. Keeney infused into every aspect of the dining experience. We believed that we could continue the tradition of exceptional food and service that you have come to know and love. However, despite our best efforts, we faced challenges that proved insurmountable.
Changes in ownership brought about shifts that, while intended to enhance the restaurant, did not resonate with our loyal customers. We attempted to adapt, but the essence of what made Keeney’s special was lost along the way. We understand that many of you have expressed your disappointment in these changes, and we genuinely appreciate your honesty and feedback.
We are grateful for the countless memories shared within our walls, the laughter, the celebrations, and the moments that brought our community together. Your support has meant the world to us, and it is heartbreaking to say goodbye. We want to extend our sincerest thanks to each of you for being a part of our journey, for your patronage, and for your unwavering loyalty to CK’s vision.
As we close this chapter, we will carry forward the spirit of Mr. Keeney in our hearts. We hope that the memories we created together will remain cherished, and we encourage you to continue supporting local businesses that embody the values of community, passion, and dedication.
