The Negroni 🍊

Some cocktails are designed to be immediately approachable. The Negroni has never been one of them.

Built from equal parts gin, Campari, and sweet vermouth, it is a cocktail defined by balance rather than sweetness. The bright bitterness of Campari, the botanical character of a London dry gin, and the richness of vermouth come together to create something layered, complex, and unmistakably classic.

For the second year in a row, we have been voted Best Pizza on the Main Line, and while the recognition means a great deal to us, it is not something we take for granted.

Great pizza does not happen by accident. It begins long before the dough reaches the oven. From fermentation and preparation to stretching, baking, and the quality of every ingredient that goes into each pie, every step matters. It is a process we continue to study, refine, and obsess over because we believe there is always room to improve.

Pizza has been a lifelong passion. Growing up in a pizzeria, it became second nature to appreciate the craft behind it. When we took over Anthony’s in 2015, there was already a responsibility to uphold a reputation. Since then, our goal has remained the same: to create a pizza that earns your trust, your loyalty, and most importantly, your return visit.

This award belongs as much to our guests as it does to us. Every vote, every order, and every person who chooses to spend their time at our tables is the reason we are able to continue doing what we love.

Linguine 🍝

Every shape of pasta has a story, and linguine is no exception.

Back in the kitchen with Vito, we are making fresh linguine from scratch and talking about where the name comes from. Derived from the Italian word lingua, meaning tongue, linguine translates to “little tongues,” a reference to its distinctive shape. Neither round like spaghetti nor wide like fettuccine, its flattened profile is what gives it both its name and its character.

These traditions have been passed down for generations, carrying with them not only technique, but language, history, and a deeper appreciation for the craft itself.

Of course, around here, a pasta lesson with Vito usually comes with a few laughs along the way.

Here, we are preparing our Roasted Pepper Crostini from the very beginning, layering roasted peppers over warm crostini with roasted garlic spread, parmesan, and goat cheese before finishing everything with a balsamic reduction that ties the plate together with balance and clarity.
