And that’s a wrap … all we can say is thank you. You’ve all left a lasting impression on us. We’ll miss each and every one of you and can’t wait to reconnect when we visit Illinois from time to time! Thank you to everyone who stopped in or reached out this past month to offer blessings, well wishes and gifts for us to take with us to Iowa. It was you guys who made Village Pizza truly special.❤️🍕

It’s with somber yet full hearts we announce the closing of our beloved Village Pizza. Our final day of operation will be Friday, April 29th.

We’ll be moving (back) to Iowa as Chris takes an exciting next step in his culinary career. While we look forward to embarking on this new chapter (with our new pup, Squire, by our side), we won’t be going without a Village-Pizza-sized hole in our hearts.

We both feel, with absolute certainty, that running Village Pizza in Malta has been the most fulfilling and enjoyable thing we’ve done in our lives yet. We are endlessly grateful to all our loyal customers who supported and loved us through this journey.

We will miss you all and hope to see you at Remington’s when we visit Malta from time to time!

Come see us once more before our last day!

We opened our doors 2 years ago today! It was the night before Christmas Eve, 2019 and we were blown away at how many of you showed up to support us as we stepped into a brand new adventure. A few months later, we had to close our dining room due to an unforeseen global pandemic and it seemed like you guys doubled down on your support of us while we navigated a very unusual scenario as new restaurant owners. You have been and continue to be the most amazing customers we could ever ask for! We love serving you and look forward to seeing you in the year ahead!
