Having vacated Texico, I hadn’t cooked Tex-mex in months. Yesterday I had the chance to cater the Malden High Chorus. All 45 members were so enthusiastic and gleeful as they were on their 3 school concert performance “tour”. I debuted a street corn burrito for the one vegetarian in the choir (roasted corn, cotija and jack cheese, mayo, cream, lemon, zest, roasted garlic, and minced serranos) it was DELICIOUS. So for anyone at BPS ( Caitlin this means you 😉 ) remember I STILL CATER EVERYTHING. Picutred below 10” burrito, individually, packed and portioned, guacamole, sour cream, and pico de gallo, Then bagged and sealed. with utensils, chips and salsa $13.50, thats cheaper than chipotle and your not supporting big Corporate, so CALL ME.

After 5 of the most awesome years I could’ve ever asked for, I’ve decided to close the truck. For a small business owner I feel like I did everything I could and wanted to do with it. It was at July 4th pops every year, I catered three movie sets. I had COUNTLESS weddings and private parties. I was even lucky enough to land huge corporate clients like Moderna & Google amongst the dozens of local schools and organizations. And not to brag, on occasions where there was more than one truck, We were the most popular truck. The lines of people at my truck almost always surpassed the rest. 2023 was the rainiest summer recorded in New England. I knew going into 2024 that it would be my last. I moved to Austin in 2009 inspired by their mobile food scene to learn so I could open my own someday. My favorite truck there: My favorite truck here: So I decided to switch things up and go back to my pastry skills. I’ve sold wedding cakes in the past and come from a line of bakers so this feels right. Please follow .cookie and keep it on your radar as it will be popping up at farmers markets and ultimately a brick and mortar by 2026. I want to thank all the great and hardworking people that were onboard. I am so appreciative for EVERYONE who supported my truck. All the likes. All the purchases. All the follows. All the Re-Books. The brew-hall is located in the Feldman Geospatial building in Roxbury, neighboring the South End and Dorchester minutes away.
