NEW OWNERS SPOTLIGHT
Meet Kim & Steve “Smitty” Smith, the new owners of MaineTowne!
For Smitty, Maineville has been home for 57 years, and Kim has called it home for 40. They’re originally from South Cincinnati and Loveland, and this October, they’ll celebrate 30 years together. They’re also proud parents to Kade, 25, and Karsen, 22.
What does owning MaineTowne mean to you?
“The idea of owning a family-run business in the town we have always called home is like a dream for us. We love this community like family, and this is where our hearts live!”
What do they love most about MaineTowne? The history of the building, the unique vibe, and the fact that it’s truly different from any other restaurant in the area.
Their favorites? Smitty goes for the Buffalo Flatbread and a Michelob Ultra, while Kim loves the White Chicken Chili and a Strawberry Sunset Smash with Tito’s. 🍓🍹
But more than anything, they want MaineTowne to be a place where everyone wants to be and where you can walk in by yourself and never feel alone. A place with great food, great drinks, and great service EVERY. SINGLE. VISIT.
Their goal is simple: get to know their customers, create memorable experiences, bring the highest level of customer service possible, and keep that small-town feeling where everyone knows everyone.
