The Autumnal baddies at Half Baked are absolutely delighted with the crisp weather and falling leaves. Makes you want to sprinkle everything with a little cinnamon, doesn’t it?

We have lots of Fall flavors this weekend. Our Apple Pie Chonker is a favorite flavor year-round, but is extra nice in October (try it warmed up & topped with ice cream!) For our pumpkin lovers we’re bringing back Pumpkin Cream Cheese Muffins. Pumpkin Spice Latte Cheesecake Chonker is new this year and we are so excited about it! In our ever-expanding line of fancy crumb cakes, we’re also introducing Carrot Cake Crumb Cake.

Pumpkin Is Back and It's Mahwah Day

Saturday we'll open early so you can swing by before the road is closed for the parade (approx 11 am-12 noon). We'll have free bottles of water for parade marchers and lots of Mahwah Blue treats for sale.

We believe in seasonality at Half Baked, so pumpkin items only come out after October 1. A little anticipation makes things taste better, don't you think? The Great Pumpkin Chonker is a doozy for sure. It's a cinnamon chip cookie stuffed with a piece of pumpkin roll and vanilla cream cheese filling, topped with cinnamon glaze and housemade pumpkin brittle.

We have something for everyone, from peanut butter to pear, s'mores to Biscoff, everything in between and beyond.

Friday, September 25th is Dolly Parton Day, and we’re celebrating with a lineup of flavors inspired by some of our hero Dolly’s most popular songs, available all weekend long.

Stop in this weekend and taste your way through the playlist!
We’re also introducing a new Chonker that isn’t named after a song, but after something Dolly loved: banana pudding. If you stopped by on Sunday, you probably caught the smell of white chocolate caramelizing and knew something good was coming. That caramelized white chocolate gets folded into banana cookie dough, then filled with rich vanilla custard and topped with Nilla wafers and banana chips. Rich, toasty, and hits all the right notes.

Tennessee Mountain Home Blondies are an homage to our favorite blonde. Our brown butter blondie is loaded with toasted pecans and milk chocolate and garnished with housemade bourbon caramel. It’s over the top in the best way.

Give Like Dolly Day
This year the Dollywood Foundation launched the first ever Give Like Dolly Day, a global day of giving that honors her lifelong commitment to early childhood literacy through the Imagination Library.
In that same spirit, proceeds from Friday’s walk in sales will be donated to Friends of Mahwah Library. So if you stop in Friday, your treat is also doing a little bit of good for our community.

Founder’s Favorites

Kinder, Maineiac, Dutch Treat and OG were 4 of the first Chonker flavors developed and they hold a special place in our hearts. They pop up on the menu here and there, but together only once a year.

Newer, but still special, is Black Forest. It’s a double chocolate Chonker filled with vanilla cream cheese and a housemade cherry jam with a hint of kirsch, for that authentic Oktoberfest flavor. They say the fondest memories are made gathered around a table. We hope you share some Half Baked treats with friends and family this week and make some new ones.
