Hey everyone, Filippo here! While we’re closed I wanted to highlight a few of my favorite mom and pop restaurants in the Champaign/Mahomet area! Go support these great local businesses (this is in no particular order)

1. The Poke Shack: My dad always gets the Kahului pork ramen and my go to is the chicken teriyaki plate. Shai and Rick are great guys

2. 83 Vietnamese Cuisine: Wayne and his mom are the absolute best! This is my oldest daughter’s favorite restaurant and they always treat her like gold when we go in. The pho is inarguably the best in the area.

3. Baldarotta's Porketta & Sicilian Sausage: I’ve had every sandwich here probably a dozen times! The only other Sicilian food I’ll eat other than my families.

4. SouthPaw social, for some reason I can’t link their page but the food there is damn good. The Philly cheese steak is my go to!
