PERU DIDN’T GET ADOPTED

Peru’s brother was the first adoption of the day at PetSmart.

That meant Peru had to spend the rest of the day without his brother who was his safety blanket. Fortunately, he had both the sisters to keep him company and make him feel safe.

Both Peru and his brother were terrified when they were dropped off at the shelter. Peru was the most scared.

But we were all very proud of him at the event. He was still shy, and didn’t come up to everyone, but we discovered one very important thing.

He loves kids.

The only times he wanted to meet people right away was when they had kids. Kids were the only beings the he wasn’t scared of, and he wanted affection from them instantly.

We were very proud of Peru at the end of the day, even though he didn’t get adopted. We know he will eventually, because he’s to handsome and good natured not to.

But don’t make him wait, come see him.
