A HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who participated in or stopped by MACC, Madrid, IA Chamber 's Trunk or Treat last night! It was PACKED -- Sisters in Cheese, Veteran's Square AND the Fire Department! We are all so grateful to see our community thriving like this and people spending time with their neighbors and friends.

We just wanted to say that we know the wait times were a bit longer than usual and we did run out of a few items and we REALLY appreciate your patience!! First, we ran out of the American Cheese, then the Brioche Buns, then eventually the Ground Beef to make the Burgers, then Pimento Cheese Spread, then Sweet Sugar Crumbs Cheesecake and the list goes on... Doing an inaugural run on new items like Smashburgers and Frozen Hot Cocoa during a huge community event is ambitious, but we love to change things up for y'all and give you new things.

Just a reminder, we will have the burgers again starting NEXT Thursday evening from 5pm-7pm, November 5th, along with some other dinner options. Burgers will not be on the lunch menu, there's just not enough space 😉

Check out our Frozen Hot Cocoa, one of our fun specialty drinks this week at Sisters in Cheese! Cocoa blended with ice and served with lil marshmallow fluff ghosties 👻 and chocolate sprinkles. It's delicious and Frozen Cocoa was my favorite treat at a popular ice cream chain as a kid, so we're bringing that nostalgia back!

Find it on the menu during maccmadridia Trunk or Treat from 5:30-7:30pm tomorrow (Mon., 10/26) and the rest of the week, Tu&W 8am-1pm, Th&F 7am-1pm, Sat 8am-1pm.

(And we know it can't be frozen and hot at the same time, it's just the name! 😜)

TWO BITS OF BIG EXCITING NEWS‼️ (read the whole thing 😉)

#☝️Introducing our NEW SMASH BURGERS! These will be available at SiC on Monday during maccmadridia 's Trunk or Treat from 5:30pm-730pm! (More info on Trunk or Treat info below). Smash Burgers will only be available at night, not during our lunch menu, which leads us to the next bit of exciting news...

#✌️ Starting in November, SiC will be open EVERY THURSDAY NIGHT UNTIL 7PM with a special evening menu for dine in or carry out! More details to come on that, but mark your calendars for Nov. 5th!

Also! Next week we will have some spooky beverages on special at SiC!
