September 15th - October 15th is Hispanic Heritage Month. It’s celebrated mid month to mid month to celebrate the many Independence Days of several Latin American countries. So enjoy a little cafecito and pan dulce this month!

I follow a lot of other cookie decorators, we all have different prices according to our area, skill set and detail of an order. I answer 1 to 4 messages a day for quotes. I try to respond pretty quickly and provide a photo of previous work similar to what they are looking for. I get ghosted pretty frequently 👻 it used to bother me, but I always find my customer. Someone who understands how time consuming this work is, who appreciates attention to detail. I have had some of the same clients for over 15 years. They have watched me and my skill level grow. They challenge me. Yes someone else may be cheaper, but have they taken the time to invest in the knowledge of this business? Have they taken food and safety courses? Do they know the states cottage laws? Do they have a separate refrigerator for their baking supplies or is their raw chicken breast thawing right next to your cookie dough? I don’t charge nearly enough and should probably raise my prices again but I am comfortable with where they are. Remember that you are paying for knowledge, experience and skill no matter what the service is.
