Gaines & Wagoner! Gaines & Wagoner is an award-winning musical duo based in Madison, WI, consisting of husband-and-wife multi-instrumentalists Mary Gaines and Chris Wagoner. The duo is known for an eclectic mix of Americana, spanning vintage jazz, blues, folk, bluegrass, and honky-tonk. Their performances are characterized by "high-wire" improvisational chemistry and humorous stage banter. Combo Noir was founded in 2018 by genre-hopping vocalist Anna Purnell (Yid Vicious, Forward! Marching Band, Intemperance Collective, etc.) and New Orleans transplant, pianist Adam St. Reiff. Drawing from varied, eclectic, and soulful repertoires, the band is a great accompaniment for everything from hootchie-cootchie dancing to staring pensively into your third martini.

It's official 👏👏👏 Ted Hefko is happening Thursday July 2nd at The Harmony Bar and Grill! For more than two decades, Ted Hefko has plied his trade as a saxophonist, clarinetist, singer and strummer of guitars, but first and foremost he is a songsmith, rooted in the blues. Born in Madison, Wisconsin, Hefko began writing lyrics in the second grade and picked up the guitar and sax just a few years later. Fresh out of high school, he caught a Greyhound bus down I-55 to follow his dreams. After honing his chops in New Orleans, Ted began touring across the US, and gigging around town.He released his first all-original album in 2009, Egyptland, a collection of scenes and stories set in New Orleans. This was followed by the more playful If I Walked on Water. A few years later, he and his live band recorded Distillations of The Blues in New Orleans and rekindled his love of the city. It's been seven years since Hefko returned to New Orleans, where his unique mix of talents and love of roots music are a perfect fit.No cover. Start time 6pm

After years of sharing festival bills and bumping elbows at open jams, Starr Moss, Trent Cuthbert, Michael Falk, Claire Kannapell and Paul Kienitz have convened to make their own brand of bluegrass-inspired music. Bigtooth, the culmination of this shared history, keeps one hand on the book of bluegrass standards and the other on the songwriting pen.
