An update for those of you who have been wondering. Many of you know Chef Ryan fell and broke his arm in 3 places on his way to an event. Engine 3 of MFD and EMT crew were quick to get him to UW hospital. He had surgery a week later and now has a titanium arm with a plate and 20 screws and yes he's made plenty of dad jokes about plates as you can imagine. He's now 3 weeks out from surgery but is still slow going as we all have to remind him to rest. He learned about delegation this past weekend as we had 3 events. Staff was making sure he took breaks, his meds and didn't over do but there's a reason were Stubborn Mule after all! He wants to thank everyone again who helped behind the scenes, in front of house, people who donated to the go fund me his best friend of 30+ years organized as a surprise to him, to the check ins, food drop offs or suprise pizza delivery. We appreciate the love and support you have shown our small business in this time. We are all excited by the progress he's made in just 3 weeks and he said he can't wait to start PT and OT so we can't scold him as much!
