While wedding "season" is winding down we were grateful to be part of another couples big day yesterday! We have a few left for the year but are ramping up for holiday parties and corporate events. Wanted to let our customers know that we are being vigilant in keeping up with information regarding cyclospora. We have events this weekend that we have had to change menu options for and are grateful to our customer's for being understanding and adaptable. Our weekly meal prep menu also has omitted any raw items they have warned against. As a helpful suggestion wash your fruits and vegetables in a 3:1 solution
3 parts water 1 part vinegar in large bowl, lift produce out, put in colander and rinse well. Safe eating to all.

It might not be officially small business Saturday however, I want to recognize 2 other small business owners who helped me out of separate significant issues this week. Karen the cake lady of deforest offered helpful advice on a dessert from equipment recommendation to strategies for the best outcome.
Then today when another purveyor was unable to secure a specialty product for a wedding R.E. Golden Produce came in clutch.
I'm so grateful to both for being "Johnny on the spot" and unknowingly helping this couple's dream wedding come to fruition at the 23rd hour!

The finish line is near! Thinking of all fellow industry people who have endured another UW graduation/mothers day weekend! Weather its 2 more services for some or one baller brunch may your day have a short brake to call your mom and thank her for supporting this career and missing yet another family function for the love of the kitchen.

Stubborn Mule Catering is very excited to be a part of an event who's mission resonates with us. Our chef experienced temporary limb loss due to an accident requiring surgery and members of this community offered support and resources to adapt. We are honored to be invited to be part of something so impactful for the limb difference community. Please come out to learn, explore and most importantly have fun while wearing your favorite orange apparel!
