Heartwarming story to start off the week: We recently learned that WWII AND Gulf War (Desert Storm) Veteran Dr. Lewis Harned's ‘100th Birthday Bucket List!' included a stop at the Babcock Dairy Store!

After his passing in April, his family reached out with a simple request for a small number of our cups, to include in their Celebration of Life memorial. Happy to oblige, but curious about the significance, we asked, "Why?" Read about what we learned on our website news story:

Top of the list for Ice Cream in Midwest Living magazine!!! 🎉We are truly proud of our entire staff, the ice cream we produce, and our store ice cream scoopers who keep customers happy and coming back literally for generations.

In our 75th year making ice cream on the UW Campus, using milk from the UW Dairy herd, and student staff that we could not do this without, it’s amazing to be recognized in this way.
