This week marks another big ‘Best of Madison’ award for the Babcock Dairy! We continued our silver-medal place in the “Best Ice Cream or Custard” category. Thank you to Madison Magazine and everyone who continues to support our historic little university dairy store where we’ve been scooping ice cream for over 75 years.

In honor of the extraordinary generosity of UW alumna Marv and Jeff Levy, Babcock Dairy has unveiled this limited-edition ice cream flavor created by the brothers. A landmark gift of a new humanities building on the University of Wisconsin–Madison campus has inspired "Levylicious Salted Turtle." The flavor features a salted caramel-flavored ice cream swirled with a rich chocolate fudge ribbon and whole roasted, salted pecans.
