And perhaps the REAL winners tonight are the employees… because Sharif won, which means tomorrow should NOT be a bad day for everyone at work. 🤣🤣

🏁 TONIGHT WE TRADE THE GRIDDLE FOR THE TRACK! 🏁

It’s Good & Plenty 2 STAFF NIGHT at the Skowhegan State Fair, and we’re all heading out to cheer on our favorite cook turned race-car driver... SHARIF! 😂🏎️

Apparently cooking breakfast wasn’t enough excitement for him… so tonight he’ll be putting the TRX to the test!

🥞 We’d say that TRX is faster than Sharif can flip a pancake during Sunday breakfast rush… and THAT’S saying something.

The Good & Plenty 2 crew will be there in full force. Probably being way too loud, cheering way too hard, and making sure Sharif can hear us from inside that truck! 📣😂

THE BACK-TO-SCHOOL CLOTHES BUFFET!

Good & Plenty 2 is putting together a FREE back-to-school clothing shopping day for our community! ❤️

The idea is simple: families can come in, look through the clothing, and take what their kiddos need for the upcoming school year, completely FREE. No questions asked. 🫶
But first… we need your help filling the “buffet!” Deadline for donations is August 21st!

We are now accepting donations of clothing in ALL SIZES... little kids, big kids, teens and adult sizes too, because we all know teenagers aren't necessarily wearing “kid” sizes anymore!

We kindly ask that all donated clothing be:
✨ Clean and freshly washed
✨ Stain-free
✨ Smoke-free
✨ In good condition and something you'd feel good about your own child wearing

Shirts, jeans, shorts, sweatshirts, jackets, athletic wear and other school-appropriate clothing are all welcome!

Please no heavily worn, stained, torn or smoke-scented items. We want every kid who shops with us to feel excited and confident picking out their new-to-them clothes. ❤️

Once we've collected enough, we'll announce our FREE Back-to-School Clothes Buffet Day at Good & Plenty 2!

Because sometimes the best thing we can serve our community isn't on a plate. 🥞❤️

Meet Cotton Candy Strawberry... a little bit whimsical, a little bit fruity, and definitely not your average pastry. A pastry to prepare for the Skowhegan State Fair!!

I tried something new today... all pastries are put on edible wafer paper. We will see if I stick with this method. Today is a trial run!

There's something special about being able to step away for a day, soak up the sunshine, and know your business is in good hands.

Today, I'm spending the day by the pool with Wyatt while Leah is off making memories with friends in Old Orchard Beach. Days like this remind me how grateful I am for our incredible team at Good & Plenty 2. Thank you for holding down the fort so I can enjoy this time with my family. ❤️

For lunch, Wyatt and I stopped by The Kennebec Cafe, and if you haven't been, you should! We love supporting our fellow local restaurant owners and enjoying all the different flavors our community has to offer.

My personal favorite? The Hot Avocado Sandwich. It's so good that I may have gone back for it a time or two. 😄

Supporting local isn't a competition... it's a community. We're proud to cheer on our fellow small businesses while serving up breakfast that feels like home here at Good & Plenty 2.
