Today we made Thai Curry Kabocha Squash Soup.
Made with roasted Kabocha squash, sautéed red onions and garlic, Thai spices, turmeric, asafoetida, EVOO, clarified butter, lime zest and creamy coconut milk, this one is not to be missed. Once our customers pick up their orders we will have five extra.

Last night, we were privileged to participate in Madison's Taste of the Town event benefiting River Valley Resources, Inc.

We brought Miniature Cardamom Cupcakes with rosewater buttercream and pistachio crumb; Passionfruit Parfaits with layers of vanilla cake, passionfruit reduction, vanilla crème Anglaise, passionfruit curd, whipped cream and passionfruit pearls; and Miniature Banoffee Pies with chocolate tart shell, homemade caramel, ripe bananas, whipped cream and shaved Swiss 85% chocolate.

What a fun and beautiful party. So many wonderful vendors, delicious food, volunteers, organizers, supporters and guests. All united with a common cause, in support of RVR and our community.

Check out River Valley Resources, Inc.; they do so much for Madison and Southern Indiana. Thank you to our merry band of volunteers and helpers who made this possible. Thad Friday, Lori Lee, Glen Gerard, Elizabeth Auxier, Charles Requet and Wanda Heath. You are all fabulous, wonderful friends and champions in this Madison life of ours.
