We have been planning this event for over a month but with the tragedy of Corey Ruiz's murder happening so recently we do not want to take this as a light event. We are using this as an opportunity to gather as a community and support the family directly. I made sure to get their most recent statement and Rooted In Sanity Kava Lounge will be donating a portion of our proceeds from the event directly to this gofundme posted by Veronica Ruiz.
