🇺🇸 HELP US SEND ONE OF OUR OWN TOWARD THE 2028 OLYMPICS! 🇺🇸
If you’ve been to Parthenon over the last couple of years, there’s a chance you’ve met this smiling face. ❤️
Marissa joined our team a little over two years ago, and from the beginning, she has been the kind of person who is always looking for the next challenge. She’s outgoing, helpful, eager to learn, and constantly pushing herself to grow. She quickly and proactively learned new jobs in the restaurant, jumps in wherever she’s needed, and brings the kind of positive energy that makes people genuinely enjoy working with her.
And apparently working at Parthenon isn’t enough of a challenge… Marissa is also chasing the OLYMPICS. 🤯🇺🇸
Marissa has represented the United States in international handball competition, won the 2026 USA Open Club Nationals with Chicago Inter, and is now pursuing a spot on the U.S. Women’s National Team for the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles.
Her next big step is an incredible opportunity to move to Denmark (one of the top handball countries in the world) to train full-time at a high-performance academy.
The catch? Like many athletes pursuing Olympic dreams in smaller sports, the journey is largely self-funded.
So we’re asking our Parthenon community to rally behind Marissa. 💙
You don't have to make a big donation to make a difference. Any amount adds up and helps cover the training, housing, meals, travel, and other expenses she needs to take this shot.
We’ve watched Marissa challenge herself and grow for more than two years, and if there’s one thing we know about her, it’s that she’s willing to put in the work.
Now let’s help give her the opportunity to see just how far that work can take her. 🇺🇸🤾♀️

And if donating isn’t in the cards, sharing this post helps too.
Let’s see if the Parthenon family can help get Marissa a little closer to LA 2028. ❤️🤍💙
