The time has come and everything must go! It has been an honor to serve our community the last seven years and now you have a chance to take a piece of our bar home with you.

Calling all Graft gift card holders! Here’s a reminder to dig out that gift card that your cool Aunt bought you for your wedding present years ago. We would hate to see the gift of a beautiful experience go to waste.

It is with joyous reflection and extreme gratitude, that we have made the decision to end the Graft adventure on New Year’s Eve of 2022. Although our story is coming to a close, this space will be starting a new chapter. The expanded Wisconsin Historical Museum will bring new life and pride to the downtown Madison area and the state of Wisconsin.

First and foremost, we want to thank our staff - they are our family, and we have all grown together in many ways, learned from each other and shared many laughs over the years. They have been the smile that has welcomed you, the white coat in the kitchen preparing your meal with skill and care and the handshake or hug to say goodbye. Graft is who we are because of who they are. We love and respect each of them and look forward to supporting them in their next chapters.

We want to thank the farmers, vendors and businesses we have had the pleasure of working with over the years. Without you, we would not have been able to create so many happy memories and we feel honored to have been part of the Madison culinary community.

We would like to thank our guests for filling our bar stools and booths, sharing our delicious food and enjoying our wine and unique cocktails; you have been gracious and supportive during our time in this space. You have chosen to share your celebrations and lives with us, and for that we are grateful and appreciative. We are humbled that so many weddings, anniversaries, first dates and other milestones were part of Graft over the last seven years. The memories we have created together will be cherished for years to come and have changed us all forever.

As the year, and our story come to a close, please join us for a glass of wine and share your favorite memories of Graft with us while the gas lamp remains lit.

Graft is looking for an individual that is motivated to join our team. We are a Midwest inspired small plates restaurant. Our cuisine showcases many different cultural influences. The candidate's job responsibilities would include, setting up station prior to service, working a specific station during service, cleaning up, and assisting chef. We are a dinner only restaurant! We are looking for evening availability on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Currently looking to fill FOH positions, including servers, support staff, and bartenders. We are a family-run restaurant that believes in growing and developing the right people that have the heart to give the best hospitality experience to all guests. The right candidate does not need extensive experience, but a base knowledge of food, wine, and spirits is a plus. We offer an extensive training program to help set up the staff and the restaurant for success on all levels.

We are located right on the Capitol Square and feature small plates, signature cocktails, and a wonderful wine list. Graft provides amazing service in a team atmosphere where all members of the staff are given the tools to succeed and create incredible experiences for all of our guests.*
