Nepal. ❤️

The devastating floods in Nepal and Tibet have brought tremendous hardship and loss to families and communities. As Tibetans, Nepal holds a special place in our hearts. Our connection runs deep through culture, tradition, shared history, and generations.

Our hearts too carry a deep wish to connect, to hold hands, to stand shoulder to shoulder, and to be there for our people in Tibet. Yet, because of the political realities and restrictions surrounding Tibet under Chinese rule, it can be difficult for us to reach and support them directly.

At a time when so many people in Nepal are facing the effects of these devastating floods, the Little Tibet family is deeply grateful to be a small part of this relief effort. We are especially thankful to Sharminub Monastery and Karmapa Shamar Nag Association/Monastery, and to everyone working on the ground to bring help to those affected . Please take a moment to listen to their stories and hear from those on the ground.
Please keep the people and families affected by the floods in your continued prayers. May they find safety, strength, and hope. ❤️☮️🙏

Taste of Madison is one of the biggest and most special food festivals in Madison. For us, it’s much more than a busy day of serving momo.

It’s a day when our whole family ,from the kids to the older comes together to help. Everyone has a part, and together we work hard to prepare and serve thousands of momos.

It’s a long and tiring day, but also one of the few days each year when we are all working side by side, sharing the work, the laughter, and the craziness. ❤️

That’s what makes Taste of Madison so special to us. It brings the community together, and it gives small family businesses like ours the chance to share our food, our culture, and what we love with so many people.

And at the end of the day, seeing our customers happy, enjoying our momo and coming back for more makes every bit of the hard work worth it.
