A Note from the Owners of Kpeppers
Dear Friends and Valued Customers,
We are writing to you today with heavy hearts to share a recent experience at our restaurant and to ask for your support.
As many of you know, we have poured our lives into Kpeppers, aiming to create a welcoming space for everyone in our community. Unfortunately, on the evening of May 7th, we experienced a distressing incident involving a group of customers who, after a disagreement regarding tipping and service, escalated the situation to a level where we felt it necessary to involve the police for everyone’s safety.
Since that night, we have discovered that a misleading video of the encounter has been circulated on social media, framed to portray us in a light that does not reflect our values or the way we treat our guests. This has resulted in a coordinated "review bombing" on our Google profile, causing our rating to drop for the first time.
It is heartbreaking to see years of hard work and honest service misrepresented in this way. This happening has so much impact on us that we even think about early retirement for a while. We pride ourselves on being a diverse, inclusive, and welcoming business, and we are currently exploring legal avenues to address these false claims and protect our reputation.
