One thing I have learned this week:
God uses anything he can to help you learn and grow. And show you he is real!! I have always pushed to provide a better life for my Wife and Children. I have worked hard. But over the past couple of weeks I have started getting back into church. I have been listening to the bible while driving. I came to the realization tonight that God knows what I want, but I do not know what God wants for me. I also understand now that money and things is not what I wanted as a child. I just wanted a Father and Mother that took care of me, loved me, showed me how to get thru life. And they did not do that. I realized that time is way more important than money and things. Time with family you can't get back. Yes fight for a better financial life, but remember to keep God and then family first. He knows each of our needs and he will provide. I want to let each person on this earth know about God!! Come to him thru Jesus and see your life change. See him give you what you need and then as you grow close to him see him give you some things you wanted.
I truly feel blessed from opening our Diner. Yes we lost it, but God knew I needed too. Thru the Diner I met a lot of amazing people. One couple stood out the most. Kevin Kelley and Allison came into our life thru the Diner. We fixed them some food for a couple of events. Then I went thru a lot and he reached out to me with a helping hand and introduced me to his Spiritual family. I have always been a believer in God and His son Jesus. But I am now starting to understand more about life because God sent a lot of people into my life. And now I am on the right path. I am back in Church, working less hours and spending time with my girls more. And we are going to Church with our children so they can learn about God. I lost my way when I turned 16. As a child I went thru Hell. But now in my late thirty I understand that once you accept God and know him, he will never leave you. I am truly blessed to have a new family and brotherhood to become a part.
God I want to say thank you!! Thank you for growing me into a better man then I was shown. Thank you for having my grandmother pick me up each Sunday as a child and taking me to church. Thank you for not walking away from me between the age of 15 til 3 weeks ago. Thank you for my new family in Christ. Thank you for telling me that I needed to go check out a new Church of yours!!!! Covenant Park Students (Church) is amazing. My kids enjoy it and both Sundays I know God was talking to my heart thru the sermon. God please blessed each person of the world. Heal the sick, give rest to the weary, and help each of us that understand and know your love spread it to the lost. In Jesus name I pray AMAN.
Sorry for the long post but God put this on my heart tonight. I feel like someone needed to hear a bit of my story. It is a much deeper life story and if you need help I have a shoulder you can cry on, I have a hand to hold, we can walk together, we can pray together, we can do what ever it takes. But remember God loves us each and is always here, there, and every where.
