Agatha Christie’s October Afternoon Tea is here!!

October has arrived and By the Pricking of My Thumbs, a strange mood follows with it. Whether you dream of a Hallowe’en Party or catch a frightening glimpse of The Pale Horse you have no need to fear. Join us at our not-so Crooked House for a meal that is sure to stimulate your little grey cells with our Agatha Christie inspired menu.

You’ll find no Three Act Tragedy here, but instead three tiers that will satisfy even the most inquiring of palates. Watercress sandwiches and pub-style pot pies will lead your keen senses onward to herbed scones, sponge cake, and chocolate truffles. To top it off we’re putting all of our Cards on the Table with teas paired perfectly alongside each tier.

Our Agatha Christie inspired menu runs from SEPTEMBER 30TH to NOVEMBER 1ST. This is no Endless Night, so do make your reservations as fast as you please. If you don’t, you may hear the dreaded words, “And Then There Were None!”

We are so incredibly excited to be bringing back our annual Daddy Daughter Tea. Daughters and Dads of all ages (5 years and older) welcome! We have a super fun and beautiful night planned that is sure to leave everyone with warm hearts and smiles.

There will be small table activities, a bouquet bar, and a photo op with a professional camera (photos emailed next day). As well as, a full tea service.

Dress code is Sunday Best.

Ticket Price is $45 per guest and includes: full tea service, flower bouquet, professional photo, tax and gratuity

“Isn’t it funny how a bear likes honey? Buzz, buzz, buzz! I wonder why he does?”
Gather up your friends for a journey into the Hundred Acre Woods! Come by balloon, umbrella, or simply bounce your way over to our front door for a whimsical tea party inspired by Winnie-the-Pooh. Here you’ll find sweet treats to cheer up even the most dour of donkeys, carrot-cake scones fit for fussy rabbits, and teas that can be enjoyed by both Kanga and her little Roo.

Our three tiers of sweet and savory morsels are more than enough to tempt a honeybee from its hive, and our teas are perfectly paired for a picnic with Piglet. You may not find that sneaky woozle, but we can promise a storybook setting and a chance to recharge your imagination. We would love to see your favorite “stuffed with fluff” companions as there’s always room at the table for a plushie pal.

You can find your way to Owl’s tree house from SEPTEMBER 2ND to 27TH. Come and visit us before a Heffalump snatches this menu away!

SHUT UP!! August’s theme is The Princess Diaries!!! 👑

Greetings from Genovia! We are pleased to invite you to a tea party hosted by our royal court, where you will be our guest of honor. It would be our delight to transform your everyday life into something extraordinary, if only for a short while. There is no need for passports or plane tickets to travel to faraway lands with our Princess Diaries inspired menu. Please rest assured that while this feast is fit for nobility, no etiquette lessons are required.

While we cannot promise you your face on a postage stamp, we can bring you three tiers of the finest delicacies Genovia has to offer. Fresh pears, cucumber-topped sandwiches, and an icy sorbet to cleanse the palette are paired with our perfectly-brewed teas. Gowns and gloves are not required, but tiaras are highly encouraged.

This menu is available from AUGUST 5th to AUGUST 30th. Please make your reservations early, lest we keep Spain and Portugal waiting.

Summer! Summer is here! July brings us sunshine, fireflies, endless blue skies, and evening fireworks. We can let our hearts guide us to the simple pleasures of life that can be found as we wander through orchards, or as we sit on the porch and catch up with good company. Hear the creak of a screen door and feel the breeze that breaks the heat of the day as we invite you to our Peach Party Afternoon Tea.

Here the delicate aroma of fresh brewed tea blends with the fresh-picked flavor of peaches. Each fresh peach is sourced locally from our neighbor Isom’s Orchard with the hope that every carefully curated tier will bring you the joy of a summer’s day with the peace and pleasure of a tree-shaded picnic.

The biggest thank you to Isom’s Orchard for letting us take our menu pictures in their incredible peach orchard! They sell locally grown produce year round from their beautiful location on Highway 72 about 2.5 miles east of I-65 in Athens,AL. You can also stop by for some of their famous slushies, jams, or honey!
