Some words in Colombia can mean completely different things depending on how they’re used.

For example:

If someone says:
“You’re chimba.”
It means you’re awesome. 👍🏼

But if someone says:
“Carechimba.”
That’s a completely different story. 😅🙈

That’s one of the things that makes Colombian Spanish so unique context matters just as much as the words themselves.
