Limited stock of Fire Cider made with fresh ingredients. Wonderful as a preventative, a decongestant, digestive aid; can be drizzled on salads, or added to tomato juice for a kick: How do you like to use it?
UPDATE: Sold out for this season. I do have kits available for you to make your own, or if someone doesn't want to deal with making their own let me know and I can start the batch for you from dry ingredients.

NEW! Fire Cider Kits! (Having issues importing a pic. I added one in comments below). Keep this dry mix on the pantry shelf ready to make when you are :) . An easy 'dump and go' idea, that will save you money in the long run. All you need to add is the raw apple cider vinegar and honey is optional. Fire Cider is loaded with spices and vegetables that will get your blood moving, clear the sinuses, enhance immune response, aid in digestion; an all around wellness tonic. For those of you who do the daily raw vinegar/honey dose, this kicks up the benefits a notch! I'm also working on a high vitamin, mineral tonic as well for sometime in the future (stay tuned for that). Introductory price of $5 a packet. Will make approximately a quart of Fire Cider (more if you add in honey).

New tea I'm working on: Christmas Tree Chai. Yup. Spruce buds :) Do you remember the commercial about pines? "pine trees: many parts are edible?" Well, that is true of most conifers. These buds have high levels of vit c, while also being anti inflammatory. Black tea with nice spicy notes and a light undertone of chocolate. Ahh, Christmas! Available soon at The Bakery on Main.

As the weather gets chilly, thoughts turn to immune boosting! Edited to add: these kits are available either directly through me or through The Bakery on Main which now carries some of my product line!
For the past year, I've been using this mason jar pump for my syrup. It's a closed system so my syrup tends to last even longer than the expected few months. The narrow mouthed bottles are my next choice; they also don't allow for spoons dipped inside to add contaminants. A regular jar works as well, but in my experience last the least long. The pump I purchased includes two different length tubes to fit either a quart or pint jar. They come apart for ease in cleaning. Here is a link to the one I bought. I am very satisfied with it. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07VQZJTLN/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

We've been enjoying ginger tea every evening this week. I tend to follow those 'cravings' as signals that my body is in need of something. I'll simmer some fresh ginger in water and being me, I throw in a few pinches of other medicinal roots that do well with simmering...astragalus for immunity, ashwaghanda and eluthero, both adaptogens, to assist the body in response to stress and overall balancing. That jar of lemon, ginger honey is my favorite sweetener for tea! So good! And my most recent health/herb tip is showing that eating the pith of citrus (it is extremely enjoyable in this honey; sort of candied :) ), has shown clinically to help with preventing this present virus from attacking cells. I recall high doses of Vit C being used in early trials, but they are finding that the compound that is found in the pith to be highly beneficial.

New to the lineup: Essiac Tea! A traditional blend purported to aid in anti tumor activity. Studies are inconclusive, but there are many testimonials out there. Used by a Canadian nurse in the 1920's, this blend was passed on to her by native peoples. Rich in antioxidants, it is also anti inflammatory. Any of you have any experience with Essiac Tea?

Just finished updating the inventory with some of our new teas. Reformulated the Daily Dynamic to smooth out the flavor and add a few more nourishing herbs. (First 2 photos). The other photo is of a new blend, TeaLC, formulated by request for a liver/kidney support tea. Someone had a commercial favorite she wanted me to recreate. There are other new ones as well.

Making another batch of fermented garlic honey. The bottom jar is just the start of the process. The top jar is my batch from over a year ago. See how dark it has gotten? The bite has mellowed with age. I take a clove or two when I need to boost my immune system; something we are all in need of these days. I'll burp the jar daily for about a week then just let it sit for a while before using.
Oh and something I learned this past year is to let garlic sit for 10 to15 minutes after chopping for a necessary chemical reaction to occur before cooking with it. You miss out on the healthy benefits otherwise .
