This sweet pup needs help finding his pawrents. He tried to push through the fence to get to our parking lot and then couldn’t smell a treat we tried to give him. He may have trouble with his vision. He’s been out there all day. Please help.

He’s very sweet. We’ve got a dry place for him for the night, but we need to find his home asap. He looks like he’s been taken care of and appears to be healthy. He’s so sad he won’t eat or drink, and our pups are not happy, either.

While we will not be open for Father’s Day, we encourage you to use this special day celebrating Dear Ole Dad while also supporting a great local cause, Central Georgia CASA (Court-Appointed Special Advocates for children in foster care)! And if you already have your meal planned for that day, you can get it for another day! How awesome is that?!

**So what are we talking about? Fully-cooked Boston Butts from Welch’s Country Smokehouse! Sales will extend through July 15, and final pickup of your delicious Boston Butt is required by July 31.)**

How it works:
1. Use the link below to purchase a waiver for a smoked Boston Butt. You can select $45, which is all it costs to get your delicious hunk of beef, or you may select a larger dollar amount that will be donated beyond the $45 purchase price.
2. Receive your paper waiver from CASA. (Someone will be in touch with you immediately after you complete your purchase.)
3. Call Welch’s Country Smokehouse to redeem your waiver at least 24 hours in advance of pickup (48 hours for holidays).
4. Pick up your fully cooked Boston Butt straight from Welch’s Country Smokehouse on Bass Rd (pickup is Friday & Saturday only and must be picked up by July 31.)
5. Enjoy a delicious meal knowing your dollars are actively working in your community to support children in foster care!

This Thursday, restaurants, coffee shops, and local businesses across Central Georgia are coming together to support the Brookdale Resource Center by donating a portion of their sales to help local families in need.

Make plans to dine out, grab coffee, or shop local at one of our participating locations, and be sure to let them know you’re there for United We Dine for Brookdale.

Since opening its doors, Brookdale has helped more than 5,000 individuals — including over 1,000 children — avoid homelessness and take steps toward long-term stability right here in our community.
