The Back Burner Restaurant has been a Macon staple since 1997. Starting out as a French Restaurant, The Back Burner has evolved over the years into offering a menu featuring a myriad of Continental cuisine. Guests are treated to an intimate dining atmosphere in our main and middle dining rooms. We also offer comfortable dining on our indoor patio. On nice-weather days, our guests enjoy our outdoor

patio. Guests may also reserve a private dining space in our green room that serves 6-7 people. Additionally, our banquet room is available for parties, business functions, or group dinners. Chef Rosas will happily create a menu to suit your group's needs.

Does anyone recognize this sweet girl? ❤️🐾

Update: After spending a rough night with us (only due to our own dogs-she was an angel), she was taken to Macon-Bibb Animal Welfare. If you can help her, please contact them. She’s very sweet, seems chill with other dogs, and is potty-trained.

She was found at The Back Burner last night, and we’re hoping someone recognizes her or knows how to reach her family. If you have any information, please send us a message.

We also want to ask for your help. We know many of you saw us help get a stray dog to safety recently, and we’re grateful that situation had a happy ending. However, we respectfully ask that our restaurant not become a place where unwanted pets are left.
Like so many animal lovers, our staff already has full homes and pets of our own, and we simply aren’t able to take stray animals home or provide overnight care. It breaks our hearts every time, but we don’t have the resources to care for abandoned animals.

If you’re struggling to rehome a pet, please reach out to local rescues or shelters rather than leaving them at a business. We appreciate your understanding and your compassion—for both the animals and the people trying to help them.

In the meantime, let’s see if we can help this sweet girl find her way home. ❤️
