🍻 One more shift with Alex! 🍻

Tomorrow is Alex’s last day behind the bar at Mattie’s.

For the last several years, she’s been pouring drinks, solving the world’s problems one conversation at a time, and keeping all of us entertained along the way. Whether you stopped in for lunch, a cold beer, or just someone to talk to, chances are Alex made your day a little better.

While we’re still not completely convinced her next career move isn’t some elaborate cover story, we do know we’re going to miss seeing her behind the bar every day.

Stop in tomorrow, have a drink, give her a hard time, share a memory, and help us send her off the only way Mattie’s knows how.

Thanks for everything, Alex. We wish you nothing but success on your next adventure (whatever you’re really up to 😉). 🩵

Alright, we’re putting Taco Tuesday on the hot seat. 🌮

Truth be told, Taco Tuesday hasn’t been the hit we hoped it would be, and today is make-or-break day for our tacos.

We’ve got hard shell tacos, soft shell tacos, walking tacos, and a loaded toppings bar waiting for you.

If you’ve been meaning to come try it, tonight’s the night. Bring a friend, grab dinner, and help us decide if Taco Tuesday deserves a permanent spot at Mattie’s. We need a little extra love tonight to keep it around.

Week 2 of Taco Tuesday at Mattie’s and we’re here to remind you… tacos are always a good idea.

Last week was a solid start, but we want to see even more of you this week. Let us take dinner off your plate tonight.

We’ve got:
🌮 Soft shell tacos
🌮 Hard shell tacos
🥙 Walking tacos

Plus, add in a loaded toppings bar with pretty much everything you could dream of piling on top. Keep it classic or make it a complete mess, both are acceptable here.

Cold drinks are ready. Dinner is handled.

🌮 TACO TUESDAY officially kicks off today at Mattie’s… and Cinco de Mayo said “perfect timing.”

Starting today, we’re testing out our new taco setup and honestly… we’re pretty excited about it.

Here’s how it works:

Your tacos come loaded with Matt’s seasoned ground beef + shredded cheese, then you head to the topping bar and build them exactly how you want. Keep it basic or pile it so high it becomes a bad decision, we support both.

$3 Hard Shell Tacos
$4 Soft Shell Tacos
$6 Walking Tacos

Because it’s Cinco De Mayo…
$5 margaritas 🍹
and if margaritas aren’t your thing, your good old reliable $1 Nattys & PBRs are ready too.

This is our first run, so bear with us while we figure out how many tacos this town can actually eat. We’ll be serving them until sold out.

Alright, here’s what’s going on at Mattie’s… because we know somebody was gonna notice and ask anyway 😂

The new menu is out. We added a few new things, got rid of a few things that were basically collecting dust, and yes… a couple prices went up. Before anyone yells at us- have you been to a grocery store lately? Half a cart of groceries practically requires financing. We’ve held off as long as we could, but we’re trying to keep prices fair while also keeping the lights on.

Next… the Bloody Mary bar. We gave it a shot, but truthfully it just wasn’t getting enough love to keep doing the full buffet setup every week. Our signature Bloody Marys are still very much alive and well, we’re just simplifying the toppings and letting the bartenders handle it.

And finally… since our chilled buffet was suddenly unemployed, we decided to give it a new career.

Taco Tuesdays are coming soon 🌮

Load your tacos up with all your favorite toppings or keep it simple if you’re boring. More details coming soon.

That’s the update. Same place, same drinks, same bad decisions that usually end with “one more beer.”
