Providing middle Georgia with one of the best restaurants downtown, we give customers a taste of Asian inspired soul food, with a pinch of Southern flair. The restaurant is located in downtown Macon on the corner of 2nd St. and allows you to enjoy your meal in a comfortable, upscale environment. The restairant also features a full bar with specialty cocktails, sake and wine.

After 5 incredible years, it is with heavy hearts that we share this update. We had planned to remain open until August 23rd and then reopen as a new concept, but circumstances have changed, and we will close our doors permanently, effective immediately.
This is not the way we envisioned this chapter ending, and we are deeply sorry for the suddenness of this news. What has carried us through these years has been the people—our wonderful patrons who filled these rooms with warmth, conversation, and celebration, and our incredible staff, who poured their energy, talent, and heart into every shift.
To our guests: thank you for allowing us to be part of your lives and your memories. To our staff: words will never be enough to express our gratitude for your dedication and for making this place what it was.
Though this door is closing sooner than we imagined, we are endlessly thankful for the community and connections built here. Serving you has truly been a privilege we will never forget. ❤️

It’s difficult to believe that tonight will be our very last First Friday as Kinjo Kitchen + Cocktails, but we’re looking forward to spending it with YOU! Even if you can’t make it for First Friday, we hope you can pencil us into your schedule over the next couple of weeks, because Saturday, August 23rd will be our FINAL evening of Kinjo dinner service before we close our doors August 25-September 6th to make way for our transformation.

Although we will be preserving a few of our (and your) favorites, the majority of our menu items will be changing dramatically, so don’t miss the chance to indulge before it’s too late! And don’t worry, we will release more details about our new concept soon, so please stay tuned!!

To all our followers, our diners, our regular customers, and anyone who has given us the opportunity to share a special occasion with you, we cannot thank you enough! Since 2020, you have supported us, promoted us, and brought friends and new faces through our doors. We are so grateful for your commitment to shopping and dining locally!

After 5 years of sharing our passion for Asian fusion cuisine with middle Georgia, Kinjo has reached a turning point. We are so tremendously proud of and grateful for the restaurant and culture we have created, but we also recognize that the growth we have witnessed in the last 5 years falls short of our goals and expectations, and we believe that the time has come to turn a new page.

What does this mean? We are in the process of reinventing ourselves: evolving into a new concept with a new menu and a fresh vibe. The good news is that our dedication to our craft, our people, and our community has not, and will not change. The faces, the cocktails, and the quality of service to which you are accustomed when you walk through our doors will always remain the same. We are all thrilled to embrace this new and exciting change and cannot wait to share it with you!

We are planning to close our doors at 497 Second Street for a week or two in mid-August, before inviting you back to join us for our grand re-opening once we complete our transformation. We promise we won’t be gone for long! While this evolution is an exhilarating new chapter in our story, we are still sad to leave the last 5 years behind us, so we want to spend the next month celebrating the legacy that Kinjo has created, and we would love for you to join us as we say farewell. So please, grab a reservation, pull up a chair, and enjoy a few more steaming bowls of noodles and killer cocktails with us!
