🥣 It’s soup season again! 🥳
We couldn't start to say our final goodbyes without bringing back some of fan favorite soups for at least a week. We will have radiator soup with our garlic knots available for lunch after 11 today! Come in for either a cup, bowl or place an order on our app and pick it up hot & fresh in the drive-thru. We will be serving up a few different soups this week, so keep an eye out for our facebook posts this week!

Hey Y'all!
Nine years ago our family transitioned our side-of-the-road vegetable stand into a beautiful brick and mortar deli and bakery. With the help of an amazing staff, Koch's General Store has been a gathering place for Maconites and visitors alike.

We have had the pleasure of being a part of your special days- getting to make the wedding cakes, first birthday treats, after school snacks, ball team meals and so much more has genuinely been an honor for us.

While we have loved getting to serve you, it is now time for us to transition again. Soon the retail side of Koch's General Store will close, and we will focus solely on our wholesale cookie factory. While the timeline is still a bit fluid- we are preparing now to close our doors in just a few weeks.

Our family is tremendously thankful for all of your support through the last 9 years. You have rallied to make this a great place to eat, a great place to work and a great place for us to call home.

We would love to serve you again- our deli, coffee shop and ice cream will be open and ready for you- at least for a couple of weeks. Stop in, chat with your favorite workers, take a picture by our fireplace, get the girls together for coffee, enjoy another Maloney, Dale, Walter, Elmer, or Johnny sandwich. Please take a moment to enjoy the parts of our store that have been such a big part of lives for the past nine years.

Looking to the future- we are excited about what comes next for us- this is certainly a bittersweet announcement- but one that we make knowing God has our next steps laid out for us.

From the bottom of our hearts thank you for being part of our story. We hope you'll continue cheering us on as Koch's cookies head out into the world! - John, Erin, & the entire Koch's General Store family

Hey Y’all! Fall is our favorite time of the year, football, sweater weather and our Fall menu items- make fall special! Even if September is holding out on the sweater weather, you can still enjoy the beginning of fall with our great specials- our chai is always a hit- but adding Maple Pecan to it- perfection! And our Fall salad with crisp apples, craisins, turkey, sharp white cheddar topped with our homemade maple vinaigrette and crunchy candy pecans- Yes, Please!!

At my house Eli & I can’t wait for the return of Chiefs football- we’re the only football fans in our house- but you would never know it- we cheer loud enough for everyone! 😉

What’s your favorite part of fall?

ANYTHING BUT A CONE! 🍦
Let’s add a little extra fun to the end of summer! This Friday and Saturday, bring your own clean, food-safe container, and we’ll serve your ice cream in anything BUT a cone!
Think coffee mugs, cereal bowls, tonka truck, measuring cups, mini buckets—the sillier, the better! 😄

Gather the family, get creative, and come make a sweet end-of-summer memory at Koch’s General Store! ❤️🍨
