Mackay Food Center, LLC Distribution This Saturday!

The Mackay Food Center, LLC, will have its food basket distribution this Saturday. We will have baskets available from noon to 2 pm on Saturday, February 13th. We are located in the old dentist office across from Ivie’s Market. There is no need to call, just show up!
Mackay Food Center, LLC, is distributing food baskets on the 2nd & 4th Saturday of each month, please mark your calendars. In February 2016, that will be the 13th & the 27th, from noon to 2 pm.
Our first month was very successful & we are very thankful to be able to help anyone that may need a little boost.
If you need help, or know of someone who does, you can call the following numbers 208-588-3330, 208-589-3331, 208-569-6030, 414-405-5422, or 208-589-3119,
The above numbers can provide emergency baskets, please call if you need one. We also have a stock of paper goods, shampoos, soap, diapers, & baby formula.
Currently, this foodbank is privately funded, but we have applied for our 501 (c) (3) non-profit status designation. Many very generous donations have already been received & are greatly appreciated. There is no other place like the Lost River Valley for willingness to help their neighbors. If you would like to help with this venture, or to donate, please call the above numbers. Mackay Food Center is rolling in 2016!

Next food basket distribution will be Saturday, January 23rd.

We are operating in addition to, not instead of, the Mackay Food Bank that is still located at the back of the Sheriff’s office. The Mackay Food Bank will continue doing their regular food distribution, as usual, on the 1st Wednesday of each month.

Mackay Food Center, LLC, is planning on distributing food baskets on the 2nd & 4th Saturday of each month, please mark your calendars. In January 2016, that will be the 9th & the 23rd, from noon to 2 pm.
