After a lot of thought, I’ve made the incredibly difficult decision to close my Machias location. Our last day will be Friday May 22nd!
This is not something I ever wanted to have to say. I truly gave this my all and poured so much of myself into making this location work. Unfortunately, with the amount of setbacks and challenges I’ve faced, it’s just not financially possible for me to keep it running. As much as I’ve tried to push through and make it work, I’ve reached a point where I have to make the tough call.
That being said, I want to take a moment to say thank you—from the bottom of my heart. To every single person who stopped in for a drink, shared a post, told a friend, or supported my small business in any way… it has meant more to me than you will ever know. You are the reason this experience has been so special, even through the hard times.
Machias has been a learning experience, and while this chapter is coming to a close, I’m incredibly grateful for the support, the connections, and the memories that came with it.
Thank you again for everything. I hope to see some of your faces again in Milbridge!
