🍣 Supporting Local & Sharing Some Love! 🍣

Monday night we stopped in to support Sunshinethaifl. They recently added sushi to their menu so we were super excited to go since we LOVE sushi!

We tried the Macclenny Roll, Rainbow Roll, and Spicy Tuna Roll, and every single one was delicious! 😋🍣

They were very busy while we were there, but their team was absolutely wonderful. They kept us updated on the timing of our order, communicated with us throughout our visit, and were hustling the entire time to take care of everyone. That kind of service really stands out!

Wonderful experience. Delicious food. Great staff. ❤️

We will most definitely be going back to try more! If you love sushi, definitely give their new sushi menu a try. If sushi isn't your thing, check out the rest of their menu and support a local business while enjoying some great food! 🥰

💛 A Little Sunday Gratitude 💛

As I sit and reflect on this past week, I’m feeling incredibly grateful. 🥹

Three days in a row of near-complete sell-outs. I honestly don’t have the words to adequately express how much that means to me.

Friday, I had to make the difficult decision to close while I was under the weather. Your understanding and support meant so much.

And then Saturday and Sunday were filled with special order requests, keeping me busy in the very best way.

This little bakery is built on so much more than flour, sugar and butter. It’s built on you. Every order, every special request, every visit, every recommendation and every encouraging message helps keep me going.

I’m especially grateful for the people who continue to come along with me as I try new things, make changes, test new ideas and figure out what comes next. You give me the opportunity to keep creating, and I never take that for granted.

Thank you for making this week such a special one. I’m counting my blessings today and feeling very thankful for each and every one of you. 💛 Wishing you a beautiful and blessed Sunday. 🙏✨

✨ A Change of Plans for Today - Friday 8/28 ✨

After a really rough week physically, I’ve made the last-minute decision to close The Bakery Barn for today.

I’ve been struggling with the pain from needing a hip replacement, and today it’s simply more than I can push through. As much as I hate making a last-minute decision like this, sometimes you have to listen to your body, and today, mine is telling me it’s time to stop.

Please don’t worry if you have a special order scheduled for today, Saturday or Sunday. All special orders will still be filled as scheduled. 🤗

I’m so sorry for the inconvenience, especially to anyone who may have been planning to stop in today. I truly appreciate your understanding and your continued support.

Thank you for being so kind and understanding when life throws me a curveball. It means more than you know. ❤️

A HUGE thank you to everyone who jumped on the Cinnamon Roll Flight test run! ❤️ The response was even better than I hoped for!

Cinnamon rolls aren't new, but this was a fun way to expand the flavor choices and see which ones YOU think deserve a spot on the regular rotation when cinnamon rolls return for the cooler weather and fall season. 🍁

✨ What an exceptional week at The Bakery Barn! ✨

This week was special for so many reasons, but first and foremost, I was incredibly honored to have my son, Zach, working alongside me every single day. I truly would not have survived this week without him. ❤️ Having him here to help, laugh with, work alongside, and keep things moving meant more to me than he probably realizes.

Our lunch hours kept us hopping with in-store pickups, local deliveries, and DoorDash orders, and the baked goods shelves were near sellouts almost every day! 🥰

I even baked a couple of batches of fresh French Bread and made a couple of batches of my Homemade Whipped Blueberry Butter to go with it. I hadn't made those in far too many months, and it felt SO good to bring them back! 🍞🫐

This week also brought so many new bakery friends through the doors, while giving me the joy of seeing so many of my wonderful regulars.

There were specialty orders throughout the week as well, each one with its own special meaning and each one such a pleasure to make. ❤️

Looking back on the week, I can't help but feel incredibly grateful.
Each week somehow seems to get better and better. And I know that's because of the amazing people who continue to walk through my doors, place orders, send friends my way, choose local delivery, order through DoorDash, and support this little bakery in so many different ways.

And there is more happening behind the scenes! 👀 I'm working on some new things for The Bakery Barn, including new items and goodies to stock the shelves and compliment all of the fresh-baked goodness coming out of the kitchen. I'm excited to start bringing some of these new additions in and can't wait to share them with you!

A BIG thank you to our friends just around the corner at Reimer Coffee Co. for the perfect afternoon pick-me-up! ☕️🤎

The last two days have been extremely busy at The Bakery Barn, and by this afternoon, the sleepiness was definitely starting to catch up with me! Thankfully, my son was here and offered to run around the corner and grab us both a little afternoon boost. ❤️

With these hot summer days, the Great White Pumpkin was the perfect little escape and a delicious reminder that Fall will be here before we know it! 🎃☕️ My son enjoyed the classic Coke in a bottle, and honestly, both were exactly the pick-me-up we needed!
Just the perfect little energy boost to get us back to business and finish out the day. 🥰

Thank you for always being just around the corner when we need a little caffeine, a little sweetness, and a little taste of Fall! 🤎🎃
