🇺🇸 SEPTEMBER 11 — WE WILL NEVER FORGET 🇺🇸
Today, we remember.
We remember the nearly 3,000 innocent lives lost on September 11, 2001.
We remember the firefighters, law enforcement officers, first responders, and ordinary Americans who ran toward danger when others were trying to escape.
We remember the families who lost mothers, fathers, sons, daughters, brothers, sisters, and friends.
And we remember the men and women who answered our nation’s call in the days, months, and years that followed—those who raised their right hand, put on the uniform, and served during the Global War on Terrorism. Many would deploy far from home. Some would return forever changed. Others would make the ultimate sacrifice.
Their service must never be forgotten.
For those of us who remember September 11th, we also carry a responsibility to those who were not yet born.
Teach them what happened.
Teach them about the lives that were lost, the courage displayed that day, and the sacrifices made in the years that followed.
Teach them how September 11th changed America and reshaped the world.
And teach them about September 12th, too—when Americans stood together, helped their neighbors, flew our flag, and remembered that despite our differences, we were one nation.
Twenty-five years later, the responsibility to remember belongs to all of us.
Remember the fallen.
Honor those who served.
Tell their stories.
Teach the next generation.
🇺🇸 Never Forget. 9•11•2001 🇺🇸
