Hi everyone, it's Stef.
There's been a lot of changes this year and I want to thank you so much for sticking by us. I have so many things I want to say but I'll never be able to express just how much the last almost 8 years have meant to me and everyone involved with the company. So, I'll just cut straight to the point because that's my true talent. Kevin and I, were amazing business partners and partners for almost a decade. We survived the pandemic, or so we thought but the change it forced on us independently ultimately led to the end of our partnership. This past year was a struggle behind the scenes because we still work well together; but by doing so we haven't given ourselves space to move on. I cannot express how amazing our staff is that they stepped in when we both needed to take space.
That being said, the way we built things has been extremely hard to separate without impacting the business, staff, or customers. We have come to the decision to dissolve LTOD Co. This gives us the opportunity to pursue things independently. Gilded and Live Trendy or Die will cease to be shortly and Rhodora will emerge owned by myself and my business partner April Cyrus, who is an OG LTOD staff member. Kevin will retain Burg Burrito and reimagine it in another form.
The clothing store managed by Aimee will continue to operate Tuesday-Saturdays and will not be impacted. We're still going to bring Lynchburg awesome clothes. The space that houses Gilded will close on June 30th and reopen August 19th. Our new gift space on Bedford Avenue is open and you can support us there while Church Street is being renovated. Essentially, there were a lot of things I did wrong over the last few years and truly this is the opportunity to redesign the business and space. Our restaurant space will also reopen as a new concept. I've learned a lot of things there too.
I really think Lynchburg is going to love the heat we're going to bring come August.
Please continue to shop with us and patronize Burg Burritos. This isn't the end. This is a chance for a new beginning. We've done this before guys. Don't worry.
