18 Years Great Memories! Thank You, Lynchburg!
After 18 incredible years, we want to share an important update directly with our Lynchburg community.
Shoemakers American Grille will serve its final dinner on October 3, and the Event Center inside the Craddock Terry Hotel will host its final gatherings through October 31.
This change makes way for an exciting new chapter for our historic property, with 22 new hotel guest rooms being created in the space. These additions will allow us to welcome even more visitors to stay, dine and experience the heart of downtown Lynchburg. The Craddock Terry Hotel and Waterstone Pizza will remain open throughout the renovation.
For nearly two decades, Shoemakers has been so much more than a restaurant. It has been the backdrop for first dates and anniversary dinners, rehearsal dinners and weddings, birthdays, holiday traditions, business dinners and countless evenings shared with family and friends.
Over these next couple of weeks, we hope you’ll join us one more time—or maybe a few more times—to enjoy your favorite Shoemakers dishes, raise a glass and help us celebrate the memories we’ve created together over the past 18 years.
If you have a Shoemakers gift card, we encourage you to use it during our remaining weeks of service. Gift cards may also be redeemed at Waterstone Pizza in the future, so they will continue to be honored after Shoemakers closes.
To our guests, team members, friends and the entire Lynchburg community: thank you for making Shoemakers your own and for 18 extraordinary years. We are deeply grateful for every celebration, every meal and every memory shared with us.
