"What a spectacular gem! Texas Inn Downtown is exactly the kind of place you hope to stumble upon. And now that we’ve found it, it’s officially on our must go to list anytime we’re in Lynchburg.

We were so thankful they were open on Sunday as we headed back to PA. We arrived early, and Jessie could not have been more friendly, welcoming, and genuinely kind! Jessie stood out to us. She demonstrated that this is the kind of place where they know their people, and they treat them like family! She even has relatives that live in our neighborhood in PA!

Texas Inn has that old-school, homey feel like Momma is behind the counter cooking for her family, chatting with everyone who walks through the door, and making sure they’re taken care of. And the food? Exactly what I want in a home cooked meal! Pure comfort food… Nothing pretentious, just delicious, satisfying food that tastes like someone actually cares about what they’re serving you.

Places like this are becoming harder and harder to find, which makes them all the more special.

Thank you, Jessie, for such a warm welcome and a wonderful meal! We’ll absolutely be back again and again."
