🚨📚 IT’S OFFICIAL—“BAKING WITH BIG BEN” IS HERE! 📚🚨
Today, I’m proud and grateful to announce the release of my very first children’s book, “Baking With Big Ben.”
This moment means more to me than simply becoming a published author.
More than 20 years ago, I began speaking to, reading to, mentoring, and encouraging young people. Long before I owned a bakery or ever imagined writing a children’s book, serving kids and giving back to my community were already part of my life.
My own journey hasn’t always been easy. I stepped away from the security of my job, taught myself how to bake, and started building Big Ben’s Desserts through faith, discipline, hard work, and service—one order and one customer at a time.
That journey taught me something I want every child to understand:
Your dream matters. Your ideas matter. And where you start does not determine where you can finish.
“Baking With Big Ben” is about much more than making something sweet. It helps children experience reading, measuring, math, creativity, patience, teamwork, financial literacy, and entrepreneurship—all while creating meaningful memories with their parents and families.
This book represents every person who poured into me, every child I’ve encouraged, every customer who supported my business, and every obstacle God helped me overcome.
But publishing the book is only the beginning.
Today, I’m also proud to launch the Bake a Brighter Future Campaign—a mission to place “Baking With Big Ben” into the hands of 50,000 children, especially children in underserved communities and Title I schools.
Through this campaign, we want to remind children that they can learn a skill, build confidence, create something meaningful, and dream bigger than their circumstances.
