To all our Joe Rouer’s Family,
Mike here. If you have visited us lately we probably told you we would be closing for a bit for me to have knee surgery.
But it’s was a bit more than that. Back in January I found a lump on my leg that ended up being metastatic melanoma- skin cancer that affects the organs.
Since then I have had 3 treatments of immunotherapy. And just had my surgery on Wednesday, May 27th in Milwaukee at Froedtert Hospital to remove the lymph nodes that had the cancer in them.
Today, June 2nd, we received great news that the therapies killed all the cancer cells! 🙌🏼
With that being said we will be opening as much as we can since I can’t work for a while. Big thanks to the small group of AWESOME employees we currently have and very thankful for some of the old school ones that will be coming back to help us out!
Sorry we didn’t share this publicly to begin with but I didn’t want my LOVING (almost) 98 year old Mom & VERY CARING sister to find out and have them worry about me! ❤️🩹
We will be posting our hours weekly. So PLEASE WATCH FACEBOOK! When we can open will all depend on the help available.
