The Mill’s Tavern & Grille is a Portuguese-American family-friendly restaurant that provides traditional Portuguese cuisine. We are seeking a creative and passionate full-time chef to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be skilled in Portuguese/European cuisine or be willing to apply their skills to learn. The ideal candidate will also play a key role in contributing to our customer satisfaction goals.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee food preparation
- Ensure all dishes are cooked to order
- Evaluate cooked food before serving for quality flavors and appearance by taste and smell.
- Track and monitor kitchen inventory
- Assist with food and supply orders
- Consistently maintain proper stocking, cleanliness, and sanitation in kitchen and food stock areas
- Complete kitchen closing requirements

Skills:
- 2-5 years experience as a Chef/Cook
- Willingness to learn authentic Portuguese cuisine
- Ability to prepare quality food consistently in a fast-moving environment
- Knowledge of Massachusetts health, safety and sanitary regulations
