**Where I Got My Start 💜**

Every business has a beginning, and when I look at this picture, I see a very important part of mine.

During Covid, Cafe 247 in Lucerne Valley became so much more than a restaurant to me. Alan and Kathy welcomed me into a place that truly felt like family. They cared deeply about their community, gave back whenever they could, and somehow made room for me and my creativity too.

Alan was instrumental in giving my tie-dye a place to be seen. He gave me an opportunity when I was still figuring out where this journey might lead, and the staff didn’t just encourage me—they supported me. They bought my pieces, asked me to create things for them, wore them proudly, and helped other people see what I was making.

This photo has always meant a lot to me. Seeing so many members of the Cafe 247 family together, wearing tie-dye I made, reminds me that sometimes the smallest opportunities can become part of something much bigger.

Alan passed away a few years after I left California, and that makes this memory even more meaningful to me. I will always be grateful to him, to Kathy, and to the entire Cafe 247 family for welcoming me into their circle and supporting me during that chapter of my life.

Aly’s Hippie Butterfly Boutique may be a new chapter, but my story didn’t begin here.

Part of it began right there, in Lucerne Valley, surrounded by good people, a community-minded little restaurant, and a whole lot of tie-dye.

Thank you, Cafe 247, for being part of where I got my start. 💜🦋

Happy Fri-Yay. Where's the party tonight? Cafe 247 is where! Come and party with us as we celebrate August birthdays with the band Southern Spirit. Come one, come all as we rock downtown Lucerne Valley. It all starts at 6pm to 9pm. Great food, amazing friends and epic music! Green Light!!
