Today! This is one of my favorite places to go see a band play, and one of my favorites to play. If you feel like having a delicious lunch with an awesome atmosphere and some live music. Come on out, Finally a beautiful day!

As a business here in Lucerne Valley, we have had the privilege and opportunity to help Seniors in a monetary way to start their future. I don't quite remember when we started giving scholarships but to me and my late husband Alyn Nielsen, we always said, "we do it for the kids." Each year we have been able to increase our donations, which is such a blessing. Last year we gave away 7 scholarships for a total of $2,250.00.
This year we were extremely blessed to give away 12 scholarships for the total of $4,200.00! Thank you to our Cafe 247 friends, loyal customers, travelers and locals who continue to support Cafe 247 so we are able to give back to our community of Lucerne Valley. At our Annual birthday celebration, we always have an event to celebrate our birthday of owning the restaurant and to raise money for the Alyn Nielsen Memorial Scholarship Fundraiser. Thank you to all who attended this year and who purchased raffle prize tickets. We had some great prizes this year! Thank you to those who kindly donated to our raffle prize collection. Also, an additional shout out to Patricia Altena, Carolyn Jarrett, Joann Van Leeuwen, Pastor David and Desiree, Praise Chapel Congregation, Chris Hitt, Uncle Leo J. Eiffert Jr., Brian Curran, Michelle Boren, John and Michelle Maloof, and Rick of R&R Towing for your monetary donations. This could never be done without all of you and your kindness. To the recipients and the Class of 2026, may you always remember from where you came. Dream big, go boldly, stay kind, and never stop learning.

Keith Wheeler for Honorary Mayor of Lucerne Valley is having a fundraiser here at Cafe 247 from 11pm to 2pm. There are some great raffle prizes, a 50/50 opportunity drawing, a band and lots of great food to purchase along with ice cold drinks! Don't miss out!
