We may have had a few different names over the years, but we’re still the same Lucedale staple that this community has known since 1917. ❤️ The Story of Landmark — Part One

It’s hard to believe Landmark Café & Grill has been open for 9 years! What started as a leap of faith has grown into more than we could have imagined, and we are so incredibly blessed by the support and growth we’ve experienced along the way.

I’m Stephanie Konecny, owner of Landmark Cafe & Grill. I am a USM graduate with a BSBA in Healthcare Marketing. I had already spent 10 years in the restaurant industry before purchasing Landmark, and I quickly realized this is where I thrive and what I truly love.

None of this would be possible without Bryon Howell Photography who has been an important part of making this video and Landmark’s growth along the way as one of the chefs.

Say hello to our Redfish Meunière 🐟🍋

A beautiful redfish dish finished in a classic Meunière-style sauce with browned butter, fresh lemon, and herbs — simple, rich, and full of flavor.

🇫🇷 A little food history: The French term meunière means “miller’s wife.” Traditionally, fish prepared à la meunière is lightly dusted in flour, sautéed in butter, and finished with lemon and parsley.

Our Redfish Meunière is traditionally served over fries, letting those fries soak up all that buttery, lemony goodness. 🤤 But if fries aren’t your thing, you can choose any two sides instead!

A little French technique with a Southern twist. 🤌
