Good morning my beautiful family and friends, after 25 incredible years, it is with a heavy heart that I announce the closing of Nora’s Mexican Food Restaurant. Twenty-five years ago, my husband and I opened our doors with a dream and a lot of hard work. By the grace of God, we were able to open our restaurant from nothing. We never imagined that God would allow so many of you to become so much more than customers. You became friends, and over the years, many of you became family. We have celebrated life’s happiest moments together, shared laughter, stories, and countless meals. Those memories will stay with us forever. Life sometimes takes us down paths we never expected. Due to unforeseen changes and after many prayers and many tears, we have made the incredibly difficult decision to close our restaurant. It was not a decision we wanted to make, but one we knew we had to make. At this moment, our family’s well-being must come before everything else. There are no words that can truly express the gratitude we feel for every person who walked through our doors, supported our small business, recommended us to friends, celebrated special occasions with us, and stood beside us throughout these past 25 years.
Twenty-five years isn’t measured just in the meals you served. It’s measured in birthdays celebrated, anniversaries, graduations, business meetings, family gatherings, and ordinary days that became special because people chose to spend them at Nora’s. You gave us the opportunity to do what we loved, and for that we will be forever grateful. Closing Nora’s is more than closing a business-it is saying goodbye to a chapter of our lives that has meant everything to us. Our doors may be closing, but the friendships, memories, and love that grew will remain with us forever. Our hearts are broken, but they are also full because of the love and support you have shown us over the years. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for believing in us, for supporting us, and for allowing us to be part of your lives. We will carry your kindness, friendships, and your memories with us always. With heartfelt gratitude, Nora and Sergio Marquez and our 3 boys who grew up alongside our restaurant. Please join us in prayer, we serve a mighty God that can do the impossible. God promises that He will never leave us nor forsake us. We look upon you for strength to be bold and strong, to banish all fear and doubt in the name above all names, Jesus Christ. Amen

I grew up having my momma make us the best breakfast meals ever!
She’d make refried beans, homemade papas, eggs, bacon and homemade tortillas. The best of the best! My beautiful momma died almost 26 years ago and I still miss her with all my heart. Yet, I’m so blessed to have my husband cook as good as her. So I invite all of you to come have a delicious breakfast just like my momma made. My husband even makes awesome pancakes just like my momma ❤️
